Neutered Male 2-3 y/o Grey and White Persian.
Sorry we woke our little friend here to get a picture of his sweet face, but we can’t begrudge Pete a little down time after all he’s endured. To make a long story short, this poor pet had been fending for himself for months on the streets of the San Francisco suburbs before he came to us. Fortunately, he knocked on the door of a kind lady who let him in, made him safe and called us. If only he could talk, we are sure he had incredible adventures, but not the kind a dear, defenseless pet deserves. Now that he’s safely in foster care, we are seeing what a sweet, shy mellow guy he is. The kindness of humans brings out such a happy purr.
There are other cats at his foster home and he is completely ignoring them – no fear or aggression, but no real interest either. We think a home with another mellow cat could be just the thing to bring him back out of his shell and teach him to be a pet again. But, above all, Pete needs to live forever with a kind, gentle person or family he can love and trust, and is home a lot.
He is fostered in San Francisco. For info, call Andrea at 415-336-7222 or email us at info@persiancats.org.
Here is Pete in all his glory…
