Spayed Female Brown Tabby Persian.
One of our North Bay neighbors found this darling little girl in, of all places, a garbage dump. Can you believe it? Well, the couple fell in love instantly and agreed to adopt Nubbin permanently if we could just get her some initial veterinary care, and of course a nice spa visit to recover from her ordeal and restore her furry beauty. She is so much happier now and off to a long life with these very kind people.

We got a call from a kind lady all the way in New Mexico when she found this tiny – three pounds! – Persian cat living in a feral colony! She found us and called for advice, which we happily gave. We also helped her with the initial vet bills needed to get little Tilly back on her paws again, and she is off to the races. The lady has made Tilly her permanent pet and reports that she’s doing great! Apparently, she finds catnip just dandy and is eating up a storm. We’re so glad we could help save this one.

Dear little Stella looks so cozy now in her favorite pink bed and is doing fantastically well in her foster place – the kind vet who has treated her all these years. Sadly, her beloved person just passed away and these folks have agreed to hold her until we can place her in the most loving home possible for her next chapter. Here’s a great description of Stella’s health and fun personality from her vet:
Stella ran her household and lived with other Persians that have seen passed away. She was the one and only Persian left. She lived with multiple Golden Retrievers and was the Boss Lady – She acted more like a dog than a cat. She absolutely loves her “Lovin” time and enjoys snuggling on the couch with her people. Stella is in a regular routine of being groomed by our Groomer at our hospital. Our Groomer says she is a delight to groom. She did have a recent Dental Cleaning in October of this past year. She has been on a prescription food since 2023: Royal Canin (RC) Pea and Rabbit Dry and Moist she was diagnosed with IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease) but has done great on the prescription food. We did detect a slight heart murmur on Stella before we did her dental cleaning and she had a cardio ultrasound that determined she had a Functional Heart Murmur that did not require any medication or any activity restrictions. This Little Lady is ready to go to her new forever home. She is looking forward to her new adventure and new household to run.
Neutered Male 4 months old Tabby and White Exotic Shorthair Persian
Sweet little Luca came to us with a big medical problem for such a little cat – an eye issue that is totally treatable, thank goodness. A friend of Rescue adopted him immediately and the situation is well under control, with our support for his medical bills. Bonus: Luca has found a fantastic forever home where he can live his best life. We love when this happens!

By a little Black Persian magic, Remington got rescued by a wonderful person before we could even get him up on the site. He’s going to live happily ever after with another sweet Black Persian – how fun. Happy Tails Remington!
Neutered Male 2 y/o White and Grey Persian
Despite the wonderful view and people he loves, Furby has let it be known that he would like a new situation, please! He’s finding his peace and quiet and loving nature sorely tested by – gasp – a new baby in the family! He’s just not impressed with this and wishes for home with adults, preferably who are home most of the time. Another mellow cat would be fine, we think. Oh, and a home with a beautiful view would be the icing on the cake.

Sometimes when we name a cat, we just have to call it like we see it. Our boy is such a little sweetheart that we couldn’t think of a better name, although we bet you, his lucky adopter, can! Anyway, this is serious cuteness here. Not only is he all sunshine and love, he sleeps on your pillow at night and he just loves tunnels and toys. He’s totally fine with another mellow cat in the home, but we’re thinking no dogs or small children, please.

In fact, she is now sharing a home with other pets and has let us know that she would prefer to be the queen of her home at all times, i.e. an only pet please. A very kind veterinarian’s office in Reno, NV found themselves caring for this gorgeous girl and her newborn kittens. Well, the kittens have all be safely placed in nice, loving homes, and now it’s Mama’s turn to find the fabulous home and family that she so richly deserves after all she’s been through. She’s an absolute sweetie with the vet staff and has proven to be great with other nice cats. Might you be the lucky, caring person or people to take her home and gaze into those incredible copper eyes for the rest of her life? Mama is fostered in Reno, NV.
