Roxy

Spayed Female 3 y/o Scottish Fold.

Sweet little Roxy finds herself in a sad situation at the moment since her beloved mom passed away recently. Roxy’s mom was a friend of our Rescue group and we are honored to help her find her new forever home. Our girl would prefer two things: to be your one and only cat, please, and also preferably have a nice cat tree for her. She loves that – see below. Would you like to adopt Roxy?

Pete

Neutered Male 2-3 y/o Grey and White Persian.

Sorry we woke our little friend here to get a picture of his sweet face, but we can’t begrudge Pete a little down time after all he’s endured. To make a long story short, this poor pet had been fending for himself for months on the streets of the San Francisco suburbs before he came to us. Fortunately, he knocked on the door of a kind lady who let him in, made him safe and called us. If only he could talk, we are sure he had incredible adventures, but not the kind a dear, defenseless pet deserves. Now that he’s safely in foster care, we are seeing what a sweet, shy mellow guy he is. The kindness of humans brings out such a happy purr.

There are other cats at his foster home and he is completely ignoring them – no fear or aggression, but no real interest either. We think a home with another mellow cat could be just the thing to bring him back out of his shell and teach him to be a pet again. But, above all, Pete needs to live forever with a kind, gentle person or family he can love and trust, and is home a lot.

He is fostered in San Francisco. For info, call Andrea at 415-336-7222 or email us at info@persiancats.org.

Here is Pete in all his glory…

Cheech

Spayed Female 11 y/o Calico/Tabby Persian.

Beautiful Cheech is with our rescue partner Nine Lives Rescue in Redwood City, CA, so please contact them for details and to adopt. Here is their glowing report on our girl:
“This sweet senior girl was brought to us because her owner sadly could no longer provide her with a secure home. Cheech is a gentle lovebug, who is calm, friendly, cuddly, playful and curious. Cheech will be a gentle and social companion for anyone who seeks the special joy that comes with adopting a senior kitty.” Nine Lives also reports that Cheech is “Cuddly, good with dogs and good with kids.” What a perfect cat! One more thing: Nine Lives has many other deserving cats up for adoption, so please do pass the word.

Huxley

From rags to riches. In June 2026, Huxley was found wandering the streets in a very bedraggled state. Through the kindness of strangers, he made his way into foster care with our friends at Helping Persian Cats in LA. As the vet bills to restore his health climbed into the $$thousands, we agreed to contribute to his care. It was SO worth it! Fast forward to now. Huxley is now in a forever home with a lady who reports that he is the best cat, and is adapting to comfort quite quickly! It’s as if he was used to it all along, but then found himself in a real bind – if only he could tell us. Anyway, check out his new situation here…

Tofu – Adopted July 2026

Neutered Male 10 y/o Red Persian.

Dear, fluffy Tofu is good for you! This big snuggly lap cat finds himself looking for a new forever home for his golden years now that his loving person has passed on. Since this picture was taken, kind family members have treated him to a spa day, where he got a welcome lion cut to remove many matts. When that fur grows back, he will just look glorious. Family members say “Tofu is in good health and he is friendly and easy to handle. He has traveled well in his carry case – very easy going cat.” He’s also current on all shots. Would you like to adopt Tofu?

Louie – Adopted July 2026

Neutered Male 9 y/o White Persian with Black spot(s).

Cute little Louie found himself in foster care now that his beloved person has passed on. While we’re sure he misses her, he has wasted no time making new friends in his foster home. His foster mom says he is “the SWEETEST kitty ever & would make an amazing companion for someone. Very lovey & sweet kitty. ” Wouldn’t you love to welcome Louie into your home for his new forever? We think he’d do best in a quiet home with no dogs or small children.

Nubbin – Adopted June 2026

Spayed Female 2 y/o Brown Tabby Persian.

One of our North Bay neighbors found this darling little girl in, of all places, a garbage dump. Can you believe it? The loving people who found her have done a great job of fostering, but the resident cats are not convinced, so she needs to find a new loving home, please. She could be fine with another mellow cat or even as a one-and-only. Nubbin is a total love bug! Now, little Nubbin has a minor medical issue at the moment, but should be all better in a few weeks (from this May 9 post.) Located in Petaluma.

Tilly – Adopted April 2026

Spayed Female Tortie Persian.

We got a call from a kind lady all the way in New Mexico when she found this tiny – three pounds! – Persian cat living in a feral colony! She found us and called for advice, which we happily gave. We also helped her with the initial vet bills needed to get little Tilly back on her paws again, and she is off to the races. The lady has made Tilly her permanent pet and reports that she’s doing great! Apparently, she finds catnip just dandy and is eating up a storm. We’re so glad we could help save this one.

Stella – Adopted April 2026

Spayed Female 10 y/o Calico Persian.

Dear little Stella looks so cozy now in her favorite pink bed and is doing fantastically well in her foster place – the kind vet who has treated her all these years. Sadly, her beloved person just passed away and these folks have agreed to hold her until we can place her in the most loving home possible for her next chapter. Here’s a great description of Stella’s health and fun personality from her vet:

Stella ran her household and lived with other Persians that have seen passed away. She was the one and only Persian left. She lived with multiple Golden Retrievers and was the Boss Lady – She acted more like a dog than a cat. She absolutely loves her “Lovin” time and enjoys snuggling on the  couch with her people. Stella is in a regular routine of being groomed by our Groomer at our hospital. Our Groomer says she is a delight to groom. She did have a recent Dental Cleaning in October of this past year. She has been on a  prescription food since 2023: Royal Canin (RC) Pea and Rabbit Dry and Moist she was diagnosed with IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease) but has done great on the prescription food. We did detect a slight heart murmur on Stella before we did  her dental cleaning and she had a cardio ultrasound that determined she had a Functional Heart Murmur that did not require any medication or any activity restrictions. This Little Lady is ready to go to her new forever home. She is looking forward to her new adventure and new household to run.
