Dear, dear Smooshy with the soulful eyes is looking for love! He’s happy in his foster situation, but would really love a home to call his own. He’s proven to be a fine companion for other nice cats and maybe even with friendly dogs. One thing to note: we do feel strongly that our rescue Persians should be safely indoors, since they are not street smart. They should NEVER be able to run free outside. However, we’ve learned that Smooshy is very happy when there is a safe, protected place like a “catio” or other extremely protected place where he can put his little face in the sunshine. It’s not mandatory for his new home, but it would be nice for him if it can be arranged! Will you be Smooshy’s forever human?

Dear, sweet Penny finds herself in a situation that’s showing us that she is meant to be a one-and-only, center-of-your-world cat. Being declawed (front) seems to make her wary of other animals and we think she’d be much happier on her own with her very own human to love her. She’s SO gorgeous and sweet and affectionate as soon as she’s comfortable! Can you please give Penny the loving home she craves?

A very kind family brought this darling, soft sweet kitty indoors when they found her starving on the streets! She is friendly and so grateful to be in a safe, loving place. The family is unable to keep her, but will certainly keep her safe until one of our friends here – is that you? – steps up to give Ginger the safe, loving forever home she deserves. Ginger is fostered in Stockton.

Another darling cousin to our Persians who needs our help! Stevie was rescued as a malnourished, skinny, possibly abused stray by such kind people, thank goodness. With the love and care he’s getting in foster care, he’s back to what we think must be his old self – a sweet, friendly, happy cat and just an all around giant hunk of love. We do mean giant! He weighs in at 13 pounds now! His foster mom says: He loves to cuddle under blankies, and definitely need a home that will give him patience as he quickly falls in love with you and realizes he’s safe Furever.
