Andie – Adopted January 2021

Update: A big thanks to our friends at SNAP Cats, who fostered Andie all this time and finally adopted her to a nice cat-loving family! And, not just any nice family, but one halfway around the world in Oman who loved her instantly over Facebook and went to great lengths to adopt her, since they have a cat who looks just like her and would love a like-minded sister. You can follow the girls’ story on Instagram at @moetblindcat. So wonderful.

Spayed Female 3 y/o White Persian – BLIND

Dear, sweet little Andie was brought into a local shelter, and that’s where her healing journey back to health and happiness began. She came to us already completely blind, but with 2 painful, infected eyes that, for her comfort, needed removal. Well, with that pain gone, she’s adjusting amazingly. And, speaking of amazing, our friends at the wonderful rescue SNAP (Special Needs are Precious) Cats have taken her into their fantastic facility for ongoing care. We are now all working together to find her a forever home where she will feel nothing but love and safety forever. Here’s what SNAP Cats says about Andie: “Andie is a lap cat! No doubt about it. She’ll sit at your feet and gently paw at your legs/pants until you pick her up. Sometimes Andie wants to lay on your shoulders across the back of your neck (makes a great neck pillow!). They said Andie was about 10 years-old when they brought her to us, but after examining her and spaying her we think she’s closer to 3 years-old. That explains her playful personality and outright feistiness when she wants her way. Because it’s Andie’s way or the highway, baby!”
