Blue (Persian) and Andy (shorthair) have found each other in foster care with our friends at Toni’s Kitty Rescue (TKR) and are crossing their paws that they can go off together to a forever home where they can continue their adventures. They love to play and sleep together! Each came to TKR with a different story – Blue came from someone who really wasn’t prepared to care for him and Andy came from the streets of San Francisco as a stray. While both are super friendly and get along with all of the cats and kittens at TKR (and the people too!), they’ve especially bonded and we’d love to see them stay together in a loving forever home.

Daphne

Daphne, aka Francie, 2024

In writing a memorial for dear Daphne, we realize we can’t say it any better than Daphne’s person did when telling us of her passing. Here’s the note:

We adopted Francie (renamed Daphne), a beautiful scottish fold straight, from you back in 2017. She recently passed away after a long battle with immune mediated thrombocytopenia, and I just wanted to send you a note to say how grateful we were to have had her in our lives. She was the most special, wonderful cat we have ever had and we miss her dearly. In 2019, just two years after we adopted her, she was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia- her condition was so grave that our vet team and specialists estimated she only had weeks to live. She had such an incredible spirit that to everyone’s shock (and our absolute delight), she survived and thrived with treatment for four more years! She passed away recently due to complications of the disease, but enjoyed a very good quality of life for most of the time while battling the disease. 

Thank you again for allowing us to give her a forever home. She was the most delightful, sweet cat and even though we wish she was still here with us, we are so grateful for the time we had with her.

Do you have a colorful rug and a nice cat who’s looking for a fun companion? OK, we’re kidding about the rug (although doesn’t she look great with those flowers?), but we do know that sweet Willow would love a new home that comes complete with a nice cat who longs to play. Her beloved cat buddy passed away and she is sad, so we are trying to steer her toward a new home with a friend who will put a smile back on her little face. We’re not so sure about small children or dogs in the home, though.

We are pleased to show you this pair of darling Burmillas – cross between Chinchilla Persian and Burmese cats – who are thankfully safely adopted now. Their person passed away, sadly, and the family contacted us for help. Fortunately, we knew of a family nearby who had been patiently awaiting a pair of cats to adopt, and they came to the rescue!

After years of happiness, dear Bella finds herself in a spot of uncertainty, as her beloved person passed away recently. Friends are making sure she is safe right now, but we’d love her to find the loving, forever home she so desires. Her friends tell us that she’s a lovey lap cat and that, given her history, she’d probably do best in a quiet home with no dogs or small children. Bella is fostered in Los Gatos.
