Mr. Louie

Neutered Male 3-4 y/o Seal Point Balinese

Mr. Louie is a big, cuddly Balinese cat who thinks he’s a dog. Estimated at 20 pounds, he walked through the doggie door of a kind person who tried everything to find where he really belonged, but no luck. He was just smart enough to know what to do to find a new home! And he found us, knowing we rescue Persians, but love to help our cousins. Mr. Louie is sweet as sugar and hopes to join his new forever family for the Holidays and beyond. Fostered near Manteca.

Jinxy – Adopted August 2020

Spayed Female 3 y/o Blue Creme Persian

Jinxy may feel a little jinxed at the moment, as her people had to give her up due to illness in the family, but we know that happy days are ahead for her. She’s absolutely beautiful, but her beauty is more than fur-deep. We know she’s been fine with a small doggie, but not with small children or other cats, so no guarantees there. If you can give Jinxy the loving forever home she deserves, please get in touch!

Sofia – Adopted August 2020

Spayed Female Tortie Persian

Sofia is such a social sweetie pie – she just LOVES a good chat. And cuddle. And look cute. What a little charmer! She didn’t have the best of luck with humans in the first part of her life, but luckily, a very kind person who had been waiting for a Tortie was thrilled to give her a fantastic forever home.

Turbo – Adopted July 2020

Neutered Male 11 y/o Black Persian Mix

Meet Turbo! This poor sweet boy looks so sad and scared, but with good reason. We hear that once he feels safe and loved again, he’ll return to his cuddly self. Will you open your heart to this handsome boy? He is at a San Jose shelter – see below for contact details. The shelter says: Turbo’s world has been turned upside-down. The poor guy is scared at the shelter and in need of rescue or a “special-needs” adopter. This gorgeous senior was surrendered after his owner passed away. Although he’s wary at the shelter, the surrender notes report that he likes cuddling. He probably just needs to get back to a nice quiet home and have some time to decompress.

To meet and adopt Turbo, contact sjrescue@sancoseca.gov and cc: cats@sjanimaladvocates.org and reference A1177638 Turbo

Catsy Cline – Adopted July 2020

Spayed Female 11 y/o Chocolate Point Himalayan

Catsy is at the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter and needs you! Scroll down for their contact info – you can adopt directly from them. Meanwhile, here is what they say about this little cutie: Catsy Cline is a gem of a cat who is looking for a best friend to grow old with. Catsy came to the shelter after being abandoned outside when her previous owners moved away. Luckily, a neighbor came to the rescue and took Catsy in for a few days. They even gave her a little haircut to relieve her from matting that had built up. Catsy is an older lady who is looking for a home to live out her golden years. She does have a heart murmur and will need special attention and veterinary care to ensure she continues to maintain a good quality of life as she ages. Catsy’s hobbies include chin scritches, comfy bedding, and the finer foods in life. Catsy would love to jump into the next phase of her life so come into the shelter to set up a time to meet her today!

Quigley – Adopted June 2020

5 y/o Neutered Male Ragdoll

Quigley is quite a guy! Someone needs to move very urgently, leaving this gorgeous, wise-looking snuggle-bug, we think a Ragdoll, looking for a new home IMMEDIATELY. Can you please help? This loverboy really loves all friendly creatures – cats, birds, you name it – and can’t wait to join his new forever home.
