Persian & Himalayan Cat Rescue of Northern California

Happy Spring everyone! It’s a bit quiet right now, but we never know who will show up any day now. Only sweet little Zsa Zsa is waiting for her dream home right now – please see below.

Meanwhile, while it’s quiet, we’ll take the opportunity to alert our faithful readers that there will be two darling long-haired cats, brother and sister, who will need a home in July. They are not Persians, but gorgeous, and are 5-7 years old. They currently live full-time at an apparel-maker/warehouse, but the business is closing and the cats will need a home. About them: the boy (black), “Wong Wong”, is in-your-face friendly and LOVES lap time. The girl (grey), “Fa Fa”, is shy, but sweet. She will sit 5 feet away and blink lovingly at you, and should blossom in a quieter environment. Ideal home would be another business where they need to be “on patrol”, but also with lots of love and petting for the cats. But, perhaps another type of home could work. Volunteer Andrea has gotten to know and love them and can give you more info if you write areese1003@gmail.com . More info, including pics, will be posted shortly.

2023 PHCR Holiday Newsletter

Since 1990, as a dedicated group of volunteers, it has been our mission to rescue and re-home Persian cats from shelters, vets and owners who need help re-homing their pets.

Adopted cats must be indoors only, and no de-clawing!
